ACARC’S Literacy Trivia Event 2026

Ready to test your literary knowledge and leave with ideas for your classroom?

Join the Albany City Area Reading Council (ACARC) for an exciting afternoon of food, fun, and friendly competition! Our Literacy Trivia Event combines a game-based approach to professional learning with genuine collegial connection.

Collaborate with fellow educators, expand your literacy network, and take home fresh book titles, trivia, and classroom-ready strategies you can use the very next day.

Bonus: Earn 1.5 CTLE hours, enjoy free giveaways for participants, and win great prizes! Bring a colleague and join the fun!


FORMAT: In-person event

DATE: Monday, 10/19/26

TIME: Registration: 4PM-4:30PM; Event: 4:30PM-6PM

LOCATION: Junior’s Bar & Grill, 2080 Western Ave, Guilderland

The Albany City Area Reading Council (ACARC) is a professional, nonprofit organization for educators in the Capital Region, dedicated to improving literacy instruction and opportunities for all children and adults. ACARC is an affiliate of the International Literacy Association & the New York State Reading Association. Membership in ACARC includes membership in NYSRA.
