Number Talks, Grades K-5 - Summer 2024

Do you want to help your students become more flexible thinkers in mathematics? Do you want your students to become stronger with their mental math skills? Then this course is for you! You'll learn about what a classroom number talk is, why to do number talks and how a number talk flows. You'll gain insight into how to establish and set expectations for your number talks as well as how to use tools to support student strategies during this time. The course will allow teachers to focus on K-2 classrooms or 3-5 classrooms once we've covered the basics!
