Thinking Outside the Box

Based on the popular Inspiration Dice concept, this course invites you to design your own set of instructional dice while exploring the classroom management strategies and creative thinking practices behind them. This project doubles as both a hands-on making experience and a practical teaching tool, helping you promote resourcefulness, critical thinking, and creativity among your students.

Building on the dice you create, you will develop three additional classroom resources, a project planning guide, a mid-project critique guide, and a project reflection tool, all designed to support open-ended, student-driven projects throughout the school year.

Although the instructor's exemplars are geared toward secondary three-dimensional art projects, the techniques in this course apply readily to any subject and grade level.
