The Need to Read Part 4: Award Winning Graphic Novels

As educators, finding time to read can be difficult. But we need to, especially when it comes to the award-winning books. This self-paced course will expose participants to various awards winners and discuss how they can be shared with students.

We have been asked repeatedly the past few years to do a course on graphic novels. We put together this list of graphic novels that have won various awards. We will analyze these winners, the awards they received and who are the readers for these books.

Participants should read at least 3 books for each 2-week session. This course is completely asynchronous through Schoology.
