Frank DiDonato is the Grades 6–12 Mathematics Department Chair in the East Greenbush Central School District.  With over 25 years in the district, he also teaches high school mathematics at Columbia High School while leading curriculum, assessment, and program development across the secondary mathematics program.  Prior to joining East Greenbush, Frank taught mathematics at Catholic Central High School and Cohoes High School.

Frank earned his Bachelor's degree in Mathematics/Secondary Education from The College of Saint Rose and his Master's degree in Mathematics Education from the State University of New York at Albany.  He is dedicated to providing students with meaningful mathematical experiences that build confidence, develop conceptual understanding, and prepare them for future success.

A proud member of the Association of Mathematics Teachers of New York State (AMTNYS), Frank has served in numerous leadership roles, including Conference Chair of the organization's 75th Annual Conference and Rensselaer County Chair.  He is also Treasurer and Past President of the Hudson Mohawk Valley Area Mathematics Association (HMVAMA) and a member of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM).  Frank regularly participates in professional learning focused on curriculum, assessment, instructional practices, and the effective integration of technology in mathematics education.
