Uniquely Human - Following Dr. Barry's Autism Podcast
Uniquely Human author Barry Prizant saw a world that pathologized, shamed, and reduced autistic people to problem behaviors that the system was desperate to eradicate. He wrote this book in response, to share the rich and beautiful ways that autistic people express their humanity, and to offer compassionate, affirming strategies to elevate strengths, not to suppress problems.
After another huge turnout and incredibly passionate participation, we are offering yet another opportunity this fall to follow his ongoing Podcast. We'll form our own asynchronous sharing and reviewing community on Google Classroom. 5 asynchronous modules following the biweekly podcasts between October and December.
