Transform Your Teaching: Mastering High-Leverage Practices for Inclusive Success
Elevate your instructional impact in this 15-hour professional learning course grounded in High-Leverage Practices for Inclusive Classrooms (Council for Exceptional Children). Together, we'll dig into essential, evidence-based practices designed for systematic use across both general education and special education settings - with a focus on Tier 1 and Tier 2 interventions that translate directly into stronger support for every learner in your classroom.
This course is built for collaboration and individual growth. Whether you're joining as a mentor/mentee pair, partner teachers, a teacher-and-TA team, a grade-level or PLC team, or simply as an individual educator, you'll leave with sharpened systems, renewed strategies, and a concrete goal-setting practice to carry forward.
How it works: Each week, participants complete an asynchronous online task using google sites, connected directly to their own teaching context, then come together for one hour of peer and facilitator feedback - turning theory into classroom-ready action in real time. The facilitator will contact participants one week before the course begins with details for accessing course materials.
NOTE: Participants are responsible for securing their own copy of the book.
