Level Up! Gamify your Classroom to Increase Engagement
Turning your classroom activities into games is a fun way to bolster student engagement! These sessions will introduce a variety of classroom games that can increase student engagement without sacrificing quality learning or wasting time. Many of the games can be created by simply adapting an existing worksheet into a new game format.
This course will walk you through the mechanics and rules for each game and the process to create each type of game. You will be provided with templates to use and time to create your own games. You will leave with several completed games ready to use in your classroom! We will also discuss strategies for differentiating to meet the needs of diverse learners and incorporating student choice. This course will be applicable for all subject areas in grades 3-12.
