From Beginner to Builder: Architecting NYSSLS Curriculum with AI Prompts
Ready to harness the power of AI but not sure where to start? This asynchronous course is designed for K-12 science educators with little or no experience using AI. Participants will learn the fundamentals of prompt writing using the R.I.C.E. Framework (Role, Instructions, Contrasts, Examples), then apply those skills to construct customized, reusable "Master Prompts" that streamline curriculum design. Build a personalized library of AI prompts to generate phenomenon-driven 5E lessons, three-dimensional NYSSLS assessments, and differentiated instructional supports-saving time while strengthening high-quality science instruction.
