Book Study: The Artificial Intelligence Playbook
This book study explores The Artificial Intelligence Playbook (Hargrave, Fisher & Frey, 2024), focusing on how AI can serve as a virtual administrative assistant for educators.
Participants will learn practical applications of AI tools to reduce administrative workload and create more time for meaningful student interactions. Through supported implementation, teachers will develop a deeper understanding of how AI tools function in the classroom, while also exploring and addressing common concerns (e.g., data privacy, academic integrity, over-reliance on AI).
Each participant will build a personal AI handbook using facilitator-provided prompts and engage in ongoing peer discussion via Padlet. Facilitator will email participants one week before the course begins with details for accessing course materials.
NOTE: Participants must secure their own copy of the text before the start of the course.
