actual practice is through supported practice and coaching. The Coaches
Institute will help both classroom teachers and those serving as academic
coaches, team leaders, curriculum reps, etc. use coaching strategies to
develop collaborative and peer coaching strategies to improve professional
practice and student learning. Fee: $175 per person. Registration Required.
*Mentoring in the Midst of School Change*, facilitated by experienced
mentor coordinator Alexia Ryan, will help educators serving as mentors and
coaches renew their strategies with and understandings of mentoring with
the new APPR requirements, the Common Core Standards, and the related
assessments. No cost - underwritten by GCRTC. Registration required.
