GCRTC amp CDWP Summer Workshops for Educators and Students

This summer, GCRTC and CDWP are offering exciting workshops for both
educators and students!

*Integrated Literacy in Grades 4-12* is a graduate level course in which
participants will investigate a broad and integrated approach to literacy
that balances the demands of the Common Core Standards with the
comprehensive aim of engaging students in authentic, purposeful reading and
writing as they develop college-ready reading, writing, and research skills
. This 30-hour week-long course (July 7-11), facilitated by CDWP Teacher
Consultants who have been working on a national i3 grant on writing, the
College Ready Writing Project, will focus on development of high-level
inquiry and literacy skills with 4-12 students across the content areas,
including literature study. *For more information or to register, click
