Virtual<http://www.ascd.org/conferences/whole-child-symposium/virtual.aspx>May
14 & 15—a conversation about what we want for our children’s future
and
what we need for their education today.

Building on the success of the 2011, 2012, and 2013 Whole Child Virtual
Conferences, this event offers participants an opportunity to interact with
school leaders, policy experts, teachers, and students to discuss the
questions, “What currently works in education, what will we need in the
future to be successful, and how can this be accomplished?" Individuals
will hear from four panels; a panel of education policy experts from
11:00-12:30
p.m. (EST) and a panel of school leaders from 2:00-3:30 p.m. (EST) on May
14, followed by a classroom instruction discussion (11:00-12:30 a.m. EST)
and a panel of students (2:00-3:30 p.m.EST) on May 15. Panelists include
Pasi Sahlberg, Peter Dewitt, James Stronge, Angela Maiers, Jose Vilson, and
students from around the country and Canada.
