FREE STEM Education Teacher Workshop at miSci

Join Lori Lambertson, *Science* Educator and *Math* Enthusiast from *San
Francisco’s Exploratorium*,Thursday, November 7 (4pm - 7pm) for a hands-on
evening workshop at miSci (museum of innovation and science) exploring *
motion: *

• the motion of pendulums
• the behavior of granular materials and avalanching sand
• the motion of air and the formation of clouds.

miSci’s newest hands-on exhibit from the Exploratorium, *Notion of Motion*,
features a collection of exhibits exploring the motion of pendulums, sand,
air, legs, and more. Lori’s workshop will show you how to bring these
exhibit ideas back to your classroom for further exploration.****
